My friend and I recently shot a short film on Super 8, but when my friend developed at out school's photolab, the film came out completely clear. Does anyone know if this could have been because he did something wrong while developing the film (He's pretty sure he didn't) or if this is a problem with our camera.

well since clear in reversal land means the presence of light, it would seem to me that yes, processing is at fault. it should have come out all black if the processing was good. could be any nuber of things. wrong developing time, too strong a bleach bath. go through each step and see if there is a hole in the process. here is the process: prewash (if needed) 1st deveolper, rinse, bleach, re-exposure, no.2 developer, rinse, fixer...that's the basic reversal process.
